As part of the management's interest in everything new that serves patients, a scientific discussion session on children with type 1 diabetes was held today in the Pediatrics Department, in the Dr. Abdullah Al-Ahwal Hall, attended by a group of the department's specialists.
The session discussed the latest approaches to managing these cases, in preparation for launching an insulin pump program as a modern treatment option that improves the quality of life of young patients and gives better control of blood sugar levels.
This step is part of the hospital's strategy to develop its treatment services and keep pace with the latest medical technologies for chronic diseases in children.
