In a step reflecting the growing commitment to developing and improving health services, the Director General of Ibn Sina Teaching Hospital in Sirte made a comprehensive inspection tour this morning of the works under way to establish vital new facilities within the hospital.

The new projects, which will transform the hospital's ability to deliver better services, include a modern central laundry that will meet the hospital's growing need for efficient sterilization and preparation of medical textiles, ensuring a safer environment for patients, and a fully equipped main kitchen to provide healthy, high-quality meals for patients and staff.

Beyond logistics, the tour also inspected arrangements for a dedicated diagnostic radiology department, which will greatly strengthen the hospital's ability to diagnose diseases accurately and quickly, with the right environment and diagnostic equipment to provide the best medical services to citizens.

During the tour, the Director General, Dr. Ali Khalifa Eljarroshi, said these projects crown intensive efforts made with the direct guidance and support of the General Command, which places great importance on the health sector as a pillar of service to citizens. He also praised the vital role of the National Development Agency in following up and implementing these projects, which will have a positive impact on the quality of health services in the city.
