World Hand Hygiene Day concluded after lectures and interactive workshops highlighting the importance of hand hygiene in preventing the spread of infection inside and outside healthcare facilities.

At the close, the Deputy Director, Dr. Jadallah Diryag, and the Director of the hospital's Infection Control Office, Dr. Mohammed Daw, honored the doctors and participants from Tripoli and Misrata, as well as medical staff who played a prominent role in applying hand hygiene practices and raising awareness of their importance in the hospital and the city's health institutions, and the media committee that covered this major scientific event.

These great efforts confirm the central role this simple practice plays in protecting patients, health workers and the whole community from infection and the spread of viruses and germs, and in spreading awareness and training programs that promote a culture of hand hygiene in all health facilities in Sirte.
