The preparatory committee for International Nurses Day met this morning to make the arrangements for marking the day, which falls on 12 May each year and will be celebrated on Monday 12 May. The celebration will highlight the vital role of nurses and allied health staff in serving the community, and recognize their efforts and valuable contributions to comprehensive healthcare and patient care.
