As part of the Libyan Government's efforts to support the health sector and provide the necessary care to citizens, the Health Insurance Authority of the Prime Minister's Office made field visits to Ibn Sina Teaching Hospital, Sirte.
The visits aim to assess the actual needs of this long-established health institution and identify shortages in medical supplies and equipment. The delegation affirmed the government's commitment to removing obstacles and providing the resources needed to meet the hospital's needs.
The hospital's Director General expressed his appreciation for the Authority's initiative, stressing the importance of this support in improving healthcare in Sirte and ensuring that all citizens receive the treatment and care they are entitled to.
The campaign is part of wider efforts by the Libyan Government to develop the public health sector, and the visits are expected to extend to more health institutions in the coming days and weeks.
