To keep pace with scientific developments, consultant Dr. Mohammed Ahmed Daw, Director of the hospital's Infection Control Office, took an active part in the 4th International Conference of Medical Laboratories, held in Benghazi on 15–16 April 2025.
The conference featured many important research papers in laboratory medicine and aims to raise the level of diagnostic medical services locally and regionally. Participants included a wide range of local, Arab and international researchers and academics, enriching the exchange of experience and the discussion of the latest developments in laboratory medicine and in descriptive and genetic diagnostic techniques.
The sessions addressed the technical challenges facing the health sector, ways to develop it, and the importance of investing in scientific research to provide and improve the quality of health services.
