In the presence of the Director General, Dr. Ali Eljarroshi; the Deputy Director, Dr. Jadallah Diryag; the chair of the Scientific Committee, Dr. Fathi Al-Kaseh; the Director of Medical Services, Dr. Awad Abdullah; and the heads of the medical departments, the launch of Ibn Sina Hospital's website was announced this morning in the late Dr. Abdulqader Al-Ammari Hall, as part of the management's efforts to keep pace with digital transformation and make it easier for the hospital to communicate with external bodies and for patients and visitors to reach the hospital.

Speaking at the launch, the Director stressed that the management is making every effort to raise the standard of the hospital's medical services and place it among the leading hospitals in Libya. The website, he said, connects the hospital with the outside world, helps patients and visitors learn about its services and communicate effectively with it, and helps medical students access the hospital's scientific programs.

He also stressed that heads of departments must work with the website team by providing complete information, and that the secretaries of all departments and clinics must keep to patient booking schedules, so that this major effort bears fruit before the end of the year, with the hospital working electronically between departments and management and dealing with patients through the website.

Eng. Moammar Al-Swaidi of the IT Department, the engineer supervising the website, explained the site and how to access it to benefit from the hospital's services, noting that it includes many sections presenting the services and visitors who have come to or contacted the hospital. The home page, he said, contains links to the medical services of the diagnostic and treatment departments, the scientific offices, administrative affairs, contact information and the booking system for the hospital's clinics.

Eng. Abdelwahed Abdullah Ghaith also gave a full explanation of the hospital's service system. Once launched, it will move the hospital from paper to electronic records: when a patient visits a clinic, the system will show the clinics they visited before and the diagnosis made at each visit, helping doctors diagnose them and provide the best treatment.

We wish every success to the hospital management's efforts to raise this major medical institution to the ranks of the leading medical centres and hospitals in Libya.
