Dr. Ali Khalifa Eljarroshi made a field visit with a specialized medical team — Dr. Hassan Mohammed Nouh, Dr. Sanad Al-Hasi and Dr. Mabrouk Saleh Bouhalfaya — to assess children with cerebral palsy who suffer from bone deformities, in order to examine each case closely, determine the procedures needed to correct the deformities and prepare the children for surgery.

Cerebral palsy is a group of disorders that affect movement, balance and posture, caused by damage to the brain before, during or shortly after birth. It can lead to a range of problems, including bone deformities, muscle spasms and difficulty moving.

God willing, the operations will help correct the bones, improve the children's mobility and reduce their pain. The surgical procedures used vary according to the type and severity of the deformity.

Our sincere thanks and appreciation to the General Command of the Libyan Arab Armed Forces for its efforts to relieve patients' suffering and for providing the resources needed for this type of surgery, which costs very large sums in private hospitals.
