By the grace of God and with the direct support of the Deputy Commander-in-Chief of the Libyan Armed Forces, Lieutenant General Saddam Khalifa Haftar,
immediately after the visiting team's arrival at Ibn Sina Teaching Hospital, the fifth phase of kidney transplant operations began this evening in the main operating department, for patients who have endured years of dialysis and can now hope for a normal life, thanks to God and to the humanitarian doctors in the theatres — visiting surgeons from the Arab Society for Kidney Transplantation and our medical staff from the Urology, Nephrology, Operating Theatre and Anesthesia departments.
A new chapter of success for this major medical institution, with the first operations of the fifth phase for a new group of patients, after the operations of the previous phases were all successful, bringing hope and joy to every patient.
