As part of the continuing commitment to strengthening scientific research and supporting academic publishing, the editorial board of the Ibn Sina Medical Journal held its first regular meeting this morning in the administration meeting room, attended by the hospital's Director General, Dr. Ali Eljarroshi, and the Deputy Director, Dr. Jadallah Diryag.
The Director General welcomed those present and pledged all the support needed to ensure the journal's continuity as a scientific platform that reflects the hospital's professional and scientific standard, documents medical and research experience, and encourages medical staff to engage in research according to approved scientific principles and methods. He stressed the need to adhere to quality standards and work as one team to achieve the journal's goals and develop it continuously.
The meeting discussed a number of important points, including outlining the journal's upcoming work plan, publication and peer-review procedures, and ways to raise the quality of published medical research to keep pace with developments in all medical specialties.
