For the third consecutive day, operations planting hope and relieving the pain of patients who have suffered for years are continuing this morning — suffering that, by God's grace and with the support of the Deputy Commander-in-Chief of the Libyan Armed Forces, Lieutenant General Saddam Khalifa Haftar, is becoming a thing of the past.

Two operations are scheduled for today. We pray for the patients' success and safety, and for the success of our medical staff in the main theatres, where a group of visiting kidney transplant surgeons from the Arab Society for Kidney Transplantation, led by Dr. Issa Kawalit, are working with the hospital's Urology, Nephrology and Operating Theatre teams.

The medical team reported from the theatres that today's operations are for two of the ten patients prepared for this phase, after three operations performed over the past two days were successful by God's grace.

We thank God for the safety of the patients and donors, and may God bless everyone who contributed, after Him, to their recovery.
