The hospital's Mortality and Morbidity Committee held its first meeting of 2026 this Wednesday morning in the administration meeting room, attended by the Director General, Dr. Ali Eljarroshi, the Deputy Director, Dr. Jadallah Diryag, and the heads of the medical departments.

The meeting reviewed deaths in the departments and problems in the workflow over the past month.

It also discussed a number of topics aimed at further improving the medical services provided to patients, in light of the hospital's great progress over the past year, including operations performed for the first time in the Central Region — among them kidney transplants — and the continuing joint replacement, corneal transplant and urological operations, with more than seven thousand operations in total.

The meeting also stressed the need for greater communication between medical teams, more advanced training for medical staff and ensuring excellent medical care.
