The pediatric cardiology diploma team — Dr. Amal Al-Hazmi, chair of the diploma's Scientific Committee, and Ms. Nouria Al-Ammami, diploma coordinator — visited Ibn Sina Teaching Hospital this morning.

During the visit, the Director General, Dr. Ali Eljarroshi, met the team with the Deputy Director, Dr. Jadallah Diryag, and the chair of the Scientific Committee, Dr. Fathi Al-Kaseh. The meeting presented the diploma's training program and discussed its content, teaching hours and curriculum. The diploma will begin at the end of March.

Three scientific workshops will be held during the diploma:

  • Echocardiography (Echo)
  • Pediatric catheterization (Cath)
  • Holter monitoring

The hospital's Scientific Committee also met the nine trainees selected for the diploma program.

At the end of the visit, the diploma team toured the hospital, including the Pediatrics Department, the Cardiology Department and the lecture hall.
