The Libyan International Conference of the Libyan Society of Dermatology, Aesthetics and Laser concluded this Saturday afternoon in the Dr. Abdulqader Al-Ammari Hall at Ibn Sina Teaching Hospital.

The hospital hosted the conference on 27–29 November under the slogan "Dermatology between Research and Treatment… Towards a New Horizon", with leading doctors, specialists and researchers from Libya, Egypt, Tunisia, Jordan and Algeria, and from other countries via Zoom.

The closing session was attended by the heads of the preparatory, scientific and media committees, the president of the Libyan Society of Dermatology, Aesthetics and Laser, representatives of the sponsoring companies, and heads of medical and administrative departments and medical staff of the hospital.

The conference featured more than forty research papers and workshops illustrating many of the skin diseases that affect patients and how to treat them, presenting the latest advances in diagnosis and treatment, and discussing recent developments in dermatology, laser and cosmetic surgery, as well as a number of surgical procedures.

At the close, the participants, the sub-committees and the bodies that contributed to the conference's success were honored with certificates of thanks and appreciation.
