Final preparations are complete at Ibn Sina Teaching Hospital in Sirte for the opening of the Libyan International Conference of the Libyan Society of Dermatology, Aesthetics and Laser, hosted by the hospital on 27–29 November. The conference brings together leading professors, consultants and researchers in dermatology and aesthetics from inside and outside Libya to present the latest advances in diagnosis and treatment, discuss recent developments in dermatology, laser and cosmetic surgery, and hold training workshops and scientific sessions to raise the competence of medical and allied health staff, as well as a number of surgical procedures.
This morning a meeting was held in the administration meeting room, bringing together the chair of the conference preparatory committee, Dr. Ali Eljarroshi, the conference president, Dr. Fathi Al-Kaseh, and the hospital's heads of departments, to finalize arrangements and ensure an ideal environment for guests and participants to exchange expertise and benefit from international experience, helping raise the level of medical services provided to patients.
The conference highlights the capacity of this major medical institution to host international conferences, seminars and medical workshops and to strengthen its scientific presence locally and internationally, opening wider horizons for cooperation and the exchange of expertise.
