To ease the hardship of our people in the southern regions and help relieve their pain by providing medical services, the first medical caravan of Ibn Sina Teaching Hospital in Sirte set out this Thursday morning for the cities and villages of southern Libya, under the sponsorship of the Ministry of Health of the Libyan Government.

The caravan, which includes specialists, technicians and allied health staff, will provide medical services to several areas of southern Libya, notably the village of Bint Bayya and other communities around the city of Ubari.

The medical team is scheduled to carry out a series of examinations in several specialties, as well as surgery for cases requiring immediate intervention, to strengthen health services in areas suffering from shortages of staff and resources.

This step is part of the Ministry of Health's major efforts to improve medical services and make them accessible to people in areas far from the main health centres.

We wish the caravan team every success and pray for the health of our people in the beloved south.
