The training course "Interventions to Prevent Mother-to-Child Transmission of Infection", organized by the Human Resources Development Office, concluded at midday this Thursday in the late Dr. Abdulqader Al-Ammari Hall at Ibn Sina Teaching Hospital, Sirte.

The course, sponsored by the National Centre for Disease Control under the direct supervision of UNICEF, ran for three days, 21–23 October 2025.

It was aimed at medical and allied health staff from Ibn Sina Teaching Hospital, the Sirte Health Services Department and the Sirte branch of the National Centre for Disease Control, to raise healthcare providers' competence in applying the latest methods of preventing transmission of infection from mothers to children.

At the close, the head of the Human Resources Development Office, Dr. Moammar Makhlouf, presented certificates of thanks and appreciation to the organizers and participating doctors in recognition of their efforts in making these scientific days a success — an important step in strengthening medical knowledge and continuously building awareness.
