The cornea transplant caravan at Ibn Sina Teaching Hospital in Sirte concluded after two consecutive days of delicate operations.

The caravan, supervised by specialist corneal surgeons of the National Authority for Corneal Transplantation together with the hospital's Ophthalmology doctors, performed 17 operations, all successful by God's grace, restoring hope and sight to patients who had been on the waiting list for a long time.

The operations were performed to the highest approved medical standards using modern techniques that helped achieve the desired results.

Our thanks and appreciation to the caravan's doctors from the National Authority for Corneal Transplantation; to the hospital management for its great support in creating the right conditions and providing every resource for this campaign; and to our outstanding medical staff in the Ophthalmology Department, who showed a high level of competence and professionalism.

A medical caravan that eased the suffering of patients with corneal disease, giving them hope, lighting up their sight, and planting hope of recovery and a better life.
