After completing all field preparations — installing examination equipment in the clinics and examining patients —
the consultants and specialists of the ophthalmology caravan, which came to Ibn Sina Hospital as part of the national program to bring treatment home, began operating a short while ago together with the hospital's Ophthalmology Department team, headed by Dr. Rabia Al-Barq.
Dr. Rabia said the team aimed to perform six operations this evening, and would continue tomorrow, Thursday, with operations for all patients on the waiting list.
