In preparation for the launch of kidney transplant operations at Ibn Sina Teaching Hospital in Sirte, the kidney transplant team held a consultative meeting this Friday at 9:00 am in the Dr. Abdulqader Al-Ammari Hall, attended by the Director General, Dr. Ali Eljarroshi, the Deputy Director, a group of consultants and specialists from Jordan, and the supporting medical teams from the hospital's Nephrology and Urology departments.
The meeting reviewed and discussed the candidates for kidney transplantation, examined each patient's medical tests and MRI scans, and discussed in detail the technical and medical aspects of the donors, in preparation for the transplants scheduled for tomorrow, Saturday.
We pray for the patients' recovery and for the success of our medical and allied health staff in this first step on the journey of planting hope in those exhausted by illness and helping to make their lives better.
