In an atmosphere of optimism and hope in God, the consultants, specialists and doctors met this morning with the patients on the waiting list for the kidney transplant program at Ibn Sina Teaching Hospital, Sirte, which is directly supported by the General Command of the Libyan Armed Forces and sponsored by the National Development Agency and Al-Sada Medical Company.
The meeting discussed the appropriate treatment plan for patients before and after this complex and delicate type of surgery. The doctors asked for important information about each patient, including previous operations and current medications. They also took matching samples from donors and carried out the examinations and laboratory tests required before surgery, to ensure success and avoid post-operative complications.
This achievement would not have been possible without the combined efforts and continuing support of the General Command and the attention of the young management, which constantly seeks to improve the quality of medical services provided to the people of Sirte and the surrounding areas.
