Every day this major medical institution brings good news to the people of Sirte and to patients worn down by pain and illness.

With the direct support of the Deputy Commander-in-Chief of the Libyan Armed Forces, Lieutenant General Saddam Khalifa Haftar, to comfort patients who have endured dialysis for years, new hope is dawning in their lives.

Kidney transplant operations, which give patients a real chance to regain their lives after years of exhaustion and suffering, will begin at Ibn Sina Hospital next Saturday, God willing, performed by a specialized medical team from the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan together with the hospital's own medical staff.

Kidney transplantation is not just a medical procedure but a great human story. We pray that it will end pain, write a victory and bring back smiles to faces that have suffered so much.

Our thanks, appreciation and gratitude to Lieutenant General Saddam Khalifa Haftar for his support and his concern for the suffering of patients from all Libyan cities, to the National Development Agency for its continuing support, to the hospital management for always striving to provide the best, and to the donors who gave part of their own bodies to relieve others — embodying mercy and human solidarity, spreading a culture of giving and donation, and planting hope in others' hearts.

We pray that God grants recovery to all patients and that these operations will be a blessing for all kidney patients.
