As part of the management's efforts to develop medical services and raise the competence of health staff, Ibn Sina Teaching Hospital in Sirte held a specialized scientific day on male and female infertility this Wednesday under the slogan "Together in Support of Infertility Patients".
The day was organized jointly by the hospital's Urology, Andrology and Infertility Department and its Obstetrics and Gynecology Department, in partnership with Taiba Libya Pharmaceutical Import Company, in the late Dr. Abdulqader Al-Ammari Hall.
The day opened with welcome speeches by the Deputy Director, Dr. Jadallah Diryag; the head of the Urology Department, Dr. Omran Bourgiga; the head of the Obstetrics and Gynecology Department, Dr. Alia Al-Mawlaf; the chair of the Scientific Committee, Dr. Fathi Al-Kaseh; and the Director of the Human Resources Development Office, Dr. Moammar Makhlouf, who stressed the importance of such events for exchanging expertise and presenting the latest developments in infertility treatment.
The scheduled lectures followed, given by doctors and consultants from the Urology and Obstetrics and Gynecology departments, reviewing the latest methods of diagnosing and treating infertility based on cases they have treated at the hospital.
The scientific day is an important step in strengthening medical knowledge and supporting patients with these conditions, and confirms Ibn Sina Teaching Hospital's leading role in serving the citizens and residents of Sirte.
